Mr. Lloyd-George (Chancellor of the Exchequer) has succeeded the late Sir John Henry Puleston as Constable of Carnarvon Castle. Carnarvon Castle, which is a magnificent ruin, was built by Edward 1., and it was here that Kdward II waa bom, and prcwnUxl by Edward I. to tho Welsh as their princc. Tlx? office of Constable is a verv ancient and honoured one.
