CRIPPLED IN BED FOR WEEKS ■ HOSPITAL • TREATMENT USELESS HANDS AND FEET. BADLY SWOLLEN ; HEART IN A BAD STATE: CURED AT SMALL EXPENSE BY DR. WILLIAMS' PINK PILLS. In i agony with Rheumatism between two and three years; £200 spent uselessly by parents to cure the complaint then completely cured fay Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. That's the record of a young girl's case mat ought to bring hope to every Rheumatic sufierer. They have cured hundreds of cases of Rheumatism in New Zealand, because acid in the blood causes tho trouble, and being a blood medicine they free the blood of the acid. " Right from the time I was three months old mother said I was delicate," said Miss Annie Cussions, of Edward-street, Woodville. . . "She was puny and thin," said her mother, Mrs. M. Cussions. "Her bones only seemed to , grow in length and did not thicken in proportion. I took her to a doctor,,and he treated her off and on right up to when' she was 12". When she was about 10 rheumatism began to show itself. She suffered terribly with pains in different parte —sometimes in the legs, and then in the arms, and mostly in her " head/ Tho headaches, she used to get were terrible, being a sort, of rheumatic pain that nearly maddened her. She'was often, laid up in bed for weeks at a'time, and her hands and feet would be so swollen that she could hardly move them. Then at times the swelling went up to her knees. I had to use hot flannels to ease the pain. She hardly ever ate anything, and I had to coax her to eat at all. I got all sorts of things to tempt her, but it was all, the same. I had her under several doctors and in the children's hospital for three months, but the treatment did not benefit her at a!!. She was frightfully nervous. She would get all of a twitch at the slightest thing. In fact, I thought she was getting St. Vitus' Dance. Her heart was terribly bad, and I often could hear it beating when some feet from her, and see her dress moving with s the beats." -

"I ' often had great difficulty in breathing," said Miss Cussions, "and sometimes when I exerted myself the least bit I would have to gasp for breath. When I was well enough to walk I could not go far, because I got so easily exhausted and very often nearly fell down. I often got attacks of giddiness, and when one came on I had to catch hold of something to stop myself from falling. I was always tired in the morning, and did not want to get up. My hands and ankles were so weak that they turned in when I walked. I was always pale and thin; in fact, I looked more like a walking ghost than a girl. When mother brought mo home from tho Hospital she began to give me Dr. Williams' Pink Pills." . ■ "Tho first box showed a' little improvement," said Mrs. Cussions, "and the second made a great difference. Tho first improvement was in her appetite, and we noticed she began to eat a little better. As she kept on taking the pills she got stronger and almost every dose put new life into her. I gave her 12 boxes, and sho was in splendid health, and then one day she was out and it came on to rain and she got wet, and that brought, on another attack. I did not bother with< doctors this time, but put her straight to bed and gave her some more of the pills. She had 10 boxes this time, and they completely cured her. I must have spent close on £200 on Annio on doctors and medicines. She has not had the least return of Rheumatism now for nearly two years, and she is perfectly free from headaches, and has been going to work for some months. T. feel perfectly certain that she would not be alive now if it wero not for Dr. Williams' Pink in the neighbourhood knows how ill I was," said Miss Cussions, "and now I am quite strong and healthy.''
