PANAMA CANAL BOND*. DEMOCRATS' ACCUSATION. By Telegraph .—Press Association.— London, October 4. Reuter's New York Agency reportt that the Democrats accuse wellknown Republicans, including th» relations of President Roosevelt and Mr. W. H. Taft, Republican candidate for the Presidency, of being interested in a syndicate which purchased for 2i million dollars the stocks and bonds of the Panama Canal Company knowing that the United States intended to purchase the assets of the company for forty million dollars.
