STRUCK OFF THE ROLLS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. The Appeal Court was opened to-day, before the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) and Justices Williams, Denniston, Edwards, and Chapman. Seven cases are set down, for hearing. The only suit takwi to-day was an application by the Wellington Law Society to strike off the rolls Christopher Scott, solicitor, of Raetihi, sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment for forging a memorial on a certificate of title and the name of the assistant-land registrar. The Court granted the application.
