KILLED IN THE BUSH.
[BY TELEGRAM!.— CORRESPONDENT.] Whangarei, Monday. News has been received in Whangarei that a man named Robert Nankiville, aged 23, was killed instantaneously this morning, while working in Mander's Bush, at Wairiki, near Whakapara. The parents of the deceased live at Whananaki. [FROM OUR own CORRESPONDENT.] Hamilton, Monday. A young man named Old, son of Mr. John Old, of Otorohanga, died at the Waikato Hospital on Saturday. He waa engaged on Thursday in bushfelling in the King" Country, and his mates missed the sound of his axe. They Btarted to look for him, and found him lying on the ground with the large limb of a tree alongside him. He was at once taken ,to the hospital, when it was found that he was suffering from concussion oi the brain, from which he succumbed.
