The shave market was quiet on Saturday. la investment lines no sales were reported, recent rates ruling. In mining lines Talismans were a little firmer again, with sales at lis 3d, at which price more were looked for, sellers 41s 6d. Waihis wero firm, selling at £9 4s, with late sellers at £9 4s 3d, and buyers at £9 3s 9d. Grand Junctions were again done at 32s 6d, with further buyers at that figure, and sellers at 32s 9d. New Sylvias had good demand, and business was done at Is 9d and la Bd, with closing sellers at Is 9d, and buyers at 13 7d. Golden Cross sold at 6d. AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE. BUSINESS DONE ON SATURDAY.
