In six months £170 14s 3d had been paid to the factory for the make-up of garments, which were sold as tailormade. They.were taken from the factory in an unfinished condition for. & "try on," and returned marked for alteration. The Court held that it was impossible, i from the statement of fact made by the inspector, to believe that a breach had been coinmitted without the knowledge of Mr. Lewis, and he must- suffer for what his partner had done. , A fine of £5 and costs would be imposed.
