. [FROM OUR OWS CORRESPONDENT.] / ;■;■.'.-;.". CAMBRIDGE. Wednesday. ; THE 15th week-of the North Island Egglaying Association's second competition was concluded on Friday last. The number of eggs laid during the week was 1707, the total number since May 16 being 15,567. The highest layings for the week were:—Light breeds: K. W. Fairclongh (white Leghorns). 35; Q. E. Clark and Sons (white Leghorns), 32. Heavy breeds: W. A. Nixon (silver Wyandottes), 33; C. Hammond (white Rocks), 33. The leading pens to da.te are:—Light breeds: Harrison and Gratton (white Leghorns). 384; A. H. Browne (white ■ Leghorns). 375; E. A. Pyke (white Leghorns), 344. Heavy breeds: E. Veale (black Orpingtons), 385; Cambridge Chamber of Commerce (white Orpingtons), 353; Miss O. Roberts (silv.*r Wyandottes), 351. ■ '
