Gisborne, Wednesday. The arrangement made by the Gisboine branch of the Farmers' Union lor the services of a veterinary surgeon is working very satisfactorily. Owing to the prevalence of the -septic metritis amongst cows the union's veterinarian (Mr. Luttrell) has been busily engaged since his appointment. ■ ■ '• '
