AFFLUENCE TO PENURY.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. London, August 25. William Blenkiron, formerly well known in racing circles as the owner of several successful horses, and an important stud, died yesterday in a common lodging-house.
Mr. Blenkiron was the original founder of the Middle Park Stud, which for manv years was one of the most famous breeding establitmments in England. Mr. Blenkiron '■ stud was submitted to auction in 1880, since which period he was practically unknown on the turf as an owner.
