THE CRIMINAL CALENDAR, Up to the present some 18 cases have been set down for trial at the criminal sessions of the Auckland Supreme Court, which commence before Mr, Justice Edwards on Tuesday, August 11. The accused are:— Thomas Fitzgerald, arson (two charges), committed at Auckland. Thomas Leonard Easton, alias Will. Wilson, escaping from prison, Rotoma. Sidney Day. receiving and conspiring to defraud, Auckland. Maxniilian Day King, theft, Waihi. <!eo. Arthur Johnston, alias Bolton, breaking and entering and theft, Aratapu. James Paten, indecent assault, Auckland. John McKinven and Thomas Anderson, breaking and entering and theft, Auckland. Kake Akarana, forgery, Kawakawa. Lionel Hardiman, theft, Rawene. James Henry Parkhurst, theft, Auckland. * Warwick Wm. Woods, false pretences, Auckland. Robert Grant Westaby, theft, Auckland. Kalie, perjury, Whakatane. Ronald Sotitar, receiving stolen property, Whakatane.
