Corporation Notices. i pi OF AUCKLAND. "THE LOCAL BODIES' LOANS ACT. 1901," AND THE AMENDMENTS THEREOF. PROPOSED LOAN FOR THE PURPOSE OF COMPLETING THE ERECTION OF A TOWN HALL FOR THE CITY OF AUCKLAND. THE MAYOR. COUNCILLORS. AND CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF AUCKLAND HEREBY GIVES NOTICE--1 That the Auckland City Council proposes to engage in the following undertaking, namely, the erection and completion of a Town Hall for the City of Auckland. 2 That the Auckland City Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of the ordinary revenues of the City of Auckland, and the sum already borrowed for such purpose, proposes to borrow a sum not exceeding £30.000, at a rate of interest not exceeding £4J per cent, per annum. 3 That the proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be the lands comprising the Town Hall site and the Town Hall building when erected thereon, subject to the existing loan charged on such site and building, and the revenues of the City of Auckland, subject to the existing loans chargeable on such revenues. 4. That the Auckland City Council propose?- to make such loan repayable in 21 years, and proposes to make provision for the repayment of a sinking fund of not leas than 10s per cent, per annum. 5. That the Auckland City Council proposes to pay out of the loan such costs, charges, and expenses as the Auckland City Council may determine 1 to have been actually incurred in connection with such loan, and the interest thereon for the first year. . That the Auckland City Council proposes to engage in the following undertaking, namely, the extension and enlargement of the Waterworks of the Citv Council by the acquisition of additional land adjacent to the Khyber Pass Reservoir, the construction of two new reservoirs, one at Archhill and the other at Khyber Pass, and the purchase and laying of water mains, fittings, and appliances in connection therewith. 2. That the Auckland City Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of the ordinary revenues of the City of Auckland, proposes to borrow a sum not exceeding £40,000, at a rate of interest vet exceeding £4J per cent, per annum. 3. That the proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be the revenues of the City of Auckland, subject to the existing loans chargeable on such revenues. 4. That the Auckland City Council proposes to make such loan repayable in 21 years, and proposes to make provision for the repayment of a sinking fund of 10s per cent, per annum. 5. That the Auckland City Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of the ordinary revenues of the City of Auckland, proposes to borrow a sum not exceeding £3000, at a rate of interest not exceeding £44 per cent, per annum 5- That the proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be the revenues of the City of Auckland, subject to the existing loans chargeable on such revenues. 4.
