HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
I Habbt Rickaeds' Company, now appear- ;; ing at' His-Majesty's Theatre, ; continues to ' draw- large houses * and; last night when the programme was repeated for the fourth time standing - room (inly 'was- available. The marvellous tarn provided by the Klos Sisters was again received with unstinted applause, while the i Miles'-Sta\"orda3e Quintette also met with a most flattering reception. Tomorrow r - afternoon £a .* matinee performance will be, given, and as the company leaves for Sydney on Monday the season will definitely close in the evening, when a change of programme will be 'presented. "THE PRINCE CHAP." The box.plan for Mr. H. R. Roberts' seasou in "The Prince Chap" will be opened ■ at Wildnian and Arey's at nine o'clock this morning. The reason is for six nights only. MALLINSON SONG RECITALS. The first of the song recitals of Mr. and Mrs. 4Jbcrt Mallinson (Madame Anna Stein- . haner) will be given in the Choral Hall on Thursday Evening next, and the second on the following Saturday. The box plan will be opened this morning at Wildman and Arey's. j ENTERTAINMI NT AT ONEHUNGA. - ; ; A social .gathering and entertainment in connection with the diamond jubilee of St. Peter's Anglican Church, Onehunga, took place at, the parish ball last evening, when the building was filled to its utmost capacity. • St. Peter's Church was built in 1848, and consecrated in 1858. The parish of Onehunga was constituted in 13H6. Dr. Purchase was the first vicar, followed by the Revs. A. R. Tomlinson, M.A., W. E. Mulgan, 8.A., and Canon J. Haselden (the present vicar). Last evening's programme included the comedietta', "My Lord in Livery," by members of the Auckland University College, the cast being token as follows: — Lord Thirlmere (H.M.S. Phlegethon), Mr. A. G. Marshall Spiggot (an old family butcher},. Mr. K. Jowitt; Hopkins (a footman), Mr. A. F. Howaith; Robert (a page), Master Kent; Sybil "Amberley (daughter of Sir G. Amberley), Miss W. Kent; Laura '.'a friend of . Sybil), Miss Wildman; Rose la friend of Sybil), Miss Dickenson. The following miscellaneous items were rendered: —'Cello solo, Mr. . Whiter; song, Mrs. Trayes; -musical sketch, " The Village . Concert," Mr. T. Garland; song, "La Sereyliata." Mr. E. V.
