MEN APPEAL FOR AID. ARBITRATION BILL CAUSES AN UPROAR. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS association.] a Wellington, Thursday. The Trades and Labour Council to-night set up a committee to assist, the Wellington Bakers' Union in dealing with the strike, and decided to ask financial aid from all unions and trades councils in the Dominion. Mention of the Arbitration Bill caused an uproar, the general opinion of the delegates being decidedly against it. The matter was referred to the Council's Parliamentary Committee.
