TRAINING OF OFFICERS.
[BY telegraph.— association ] DuNKDIN, Friday. Ix connection with the rumoured establishment by the Union Steam Ship Company of a training-ship, about 100 applications have been already received from boys in the Dominion. The ship Dart-ford, the use of which was suggested for the purpose, has been chartered to proceed to Kaipara to load timber for Sydney.
