FALL OF NEARLY 3000 FEET. MAN'S MARVELLOUS ESCAPE. l!y Telegraph— Association.—Copyright. Berne, June 15. Two Zurich students ascended in a balloon to the height, of 11,200 feet. The balloon was then allowed to descend, but when it had reached a height of 2800 '?) feet an accident happened, and the occupants fell that distance. One was instantly killed, but his comrade had a marvellous escape, and when picked up was found to have sustained no worse injuries than a fractured leg.
