ARRIVAL OF IMMIGRANTS.
[l)Y TKLECIUfH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION-.] W ELLINGTON, Tuesday. Over 500 passengers arrived in the Dominion by the Corinthic to-day, and of these 180 arc assisted immigrants. In the list arc 23 farmers, 24 domestic servants, 12 farm labourers, three carpenters, and people rep resenting other branches of industry. Nearly all the domestic servants, seven of whom are passengers for Wellington, are booked for situations. One of the newcomers has a capital of £2000 and an annual income of £200, another £1300, a third £1000, two othero £650 and £600 respectively, two possess £360 each, and the capital of the remainder varies from £25 to £150.
