TENDERS FOR DEBENTURES. Tenners are invited for the Purchase of Two Hundred and Seventy-five (275) Debentures for One Hundred Pounds (£100) each, being the Loan of £27,500, authorised by the.- ■" Christchurch District Drainage Act Amendment Act, 1907,'' bearing interest at the rate of £4 10s per centum per annum, payable half-yearly, at the Bank of New Zealand, Auckland, Wellington, Christchnrch. and Dunedin, free of exchange. The currency of the Debentures commences on the Ist day of July, 1903, and matures on the 30th day of June, 1928. Exchange must be added to cheques. No tender necessarily accepted. Tenderers of the Highest Premium will have preference, and to tenderers at equal rates, Debentures will lie allotted proportionately to the number applied for. A deposit of £5 per £100 tendered for must accompany such tender, which will be credited to the successful'and returned to the unsuccessful tenderers.
