To assist prospectors and others interested in developing the mineral resources) of the country, mineral samples are examined free of charge by the Department, provided that the locality and full particulars! are given. lit other cases the charges vary from 10s 6d (coals and carbonaceous materials) to £3 3s (complete analysis of mixed manures).
