(jjY • TtLKGRAriI. —OW2f CORRESrOXDKVr:] Welu.n'GlOx, Thursday. Ax attempt is to be made by the Presbyterian Church to ascertain to what extent Sabbath desecration is prevalent in the Dominion. The Moderator of the Wellington Presbytery (Rev. Gibson Smith), Revs. J. K. Elliott and W. J. Comrie have been appointed p. _ sab-committee to draw up a set of questions to be submitted to ministers of Presbyterian churches throughout New Zealand in order to ascertain to what extent the religious observance of the day is neglected, and also to find out what means are being taken to cope with the matter.
