UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL.
NEW ZEALAND V. SYDNEY. [BY - TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATE IN.] Di/m:imn, Monday. In connection with the proposed visit of the University football team to Sydney, it has been decided that Otago shall play Canterbury two days before the departure of the team, the South Island team to be picked from that match, and play a team from Auckland and Victoria. Colleges. The final selection will be made after the latter match, the team to leave for Sydney on June 26. Twenty men will be taken, and Dr. Hunter (Otago), Professor Hunter (Wellington), and J. T. Evans (Canterbury) are to be asked to act as selectors.
