AUCKLAND RUGBY UNION. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union was held in the Sports Club last evening, the following being present: "Messrs. M. J. Sheahan (chairman), F S. Murray, C. Sticbbury, S. Somerlield, and V. Langs ford (secretary). Tarauaki Bngby Union: The Taranaki Union wrote asking for information as to the working of the A.R.U. accident fund. It was decided to forward the necessary information. Wanganui Union: A letter was received from Wanguuui inviting the Auckland representatives to viait that place this year, It : was resolved to write expressing regret that !>,s the nuion were not, sending a team to Taru.nu.lu tkey would not be able to visit Wanganui. Selector: Mr. D. Gallaher was appointed' sole selector for the season. Referees' Association: A number of requests were,made by the Referees' Association, and at the desire of that body it was decided to erect a special stand for referees and officials, and to entertain visiting referees on Sunday, a3 tho guests of the union. Official Guide: lb was decided to advertise for tenders for the sole right to print and publish the Official Guide for the season, excepting the British matches. RUGBY REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. \ The annual meeting and conference of the New Zealand Rugby Referees' Association will ho opened at the Sports Club to-mor-row morning, at 10 o'clock, and will he continued on Saturday. A meeting of the Management Committee of the \Vaiui Rugby Union was held last evening, Air. R. MtWhirter (chairman) presiding. It was decided to alter the boundaries eo as to include a portion of the eastern side, over the Tauranga bridge, in tho Wattete district. Air. C. McMillan was appointed selector for the senior representatives and Air. R. Harris for the juniors. The opening of the cup matches was fixed for tho 25tli inst.. the draw resulting as follows: -April 25. AVaitete v. Mataura: May 2. Waitete v. Waihi. Owing to the number of inter-union and goldflelda matches it was decided to play two rounds in the senior grade and three in the junior and third j grades, and if time permits to add a third : round in the senior division.
