Mr. Deakin* has officially confirmed his intention to remain in office ut fca-*t till the tariff is through. Ho will more as nil amendment that the appointment of the Royal Commission to inquire into Post Office affairs be postponed till the tariff is out of th© way, and ho expects it will bo accepted.
Mr. Fisher, in an interview after the Labour caucus, said ho hoped that hat moniouH relations would ho restored when the House meets to-day. It is understood that a majority of the Labour members who voted against the Government hav« agreed to fall into lino.
