THE ASPHALT COMPANY. EX-RECEIVER SUED. By Telegraph.— Association.— Copyright. (Received April 15, 11.15 p.m.) New York. April 15. Venezuela is suing Mr. Calhoun, exreceiver for the New York Bermudez Asphalt Company, for an account of his administration of the property. Bail to the amount of 40,000 dollars is required. The New York and Bermudes Asphalt Company had possessions of great value in Venezuela, and for years past they have been a constant source of trouble. he American claims against Venezuela are many, but they are i long time being met, Mr. Calhoun, a special Commissioner recently reported that if the company's demands met wit' procrastination or refusal the dignity of the United States Government would require prompt and vigorous action.
