The New York and Bermudes Asphalt Company had possessions of great value in Venezuela, and for years past they have been a constant source of trouble. he American claims against Venezuela are many, but they are i long time being met, Mr. Calhoun, a special Commissioner recently reported that if the company's demands met wit' procrastination or refusal the dignity of the United States Government would require prompt and vigorous action.
