Public notice is hereby given that at an Ordinary Meeting of the Wairot* Road Board to be Held at the Office of the said Board, at Clevedon, on SATURDAY, the 16th day of May, 3908, a Resolution will be submitted to confirm a Resolution to make certain Bylaws, as hereinafter mentioned, passed at "a Spfoi;i] Meeting of the said Board, held on the 14th day of April, 1908. and for the making of a Special Order making the said Bylaws, the objecf. and purport of such Bylaws being to regulate the width of Tires of Vehicles engaged in heavy traffic, the marking of the Weight on such Vehicles, providing that heavy traffic and the use of bullocks as traction animals shall cease on all roads within the control of the Wairoa Road Board during certain months of the year, provision for Detaining and Examining any Vehicles, and the weightload and contents thereof, and providing penalties for the breach of any of the said By-laws, and other incidental provisions necessary for the propel carrying cut and enforcement of the said By-laws.
