CHARGE AGAINST A MUSIC TEACHER. At the Police Court yesterday, before Mr. R. W. Dyer, 8.M., a middle-aged man named : Joseph B. Adger, a mu»ic-teaclier, who arriv- : ed here recently from Sydney and Philadelphia, and was defended by Mr. W. E. Hac£ett, pleaded not-guilty to indecently assault.ng a, young girl on March 31. Chief-Detective Mars&ck called evidence to show that the accused had visited the comdainant'w residence in -street, and while jiving her a music lesson it was alleged be committed the offence.
