A report from one of the Harbour Board's officials, which was read at yesterday's meeting, stated that when the steamer Orange Branch was berthing at the Railway Wharf she cracked one of the ferro-ooncrete piles for a distance of 3ft 6in, and also bustained damage to her hull. The engineer stated that the cost of making the damage good would be only about ss. There had been no damage at all, lie said, except to the outer covering of the pile. Furs! Furs! !
