DEATH FROM A KICK.
[lit TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Nelson, Tuesday. A boy named Sydney Thomas Bird, aged six, the son of Mr. Thomas Bird, of Hope, died on Saturday from acute peritonitis. At the inquest the jury returned a verdict that death resulted from peritonitis, caused by receiving an accidental kick while playing football, no blame being attachable to anyone.
