THE GOVERNOR.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Ciiristchusch, Tuesday. His Excellency the Governor (Lord Plunket arrived in Christchurch this morning. The Civic Lodge, the latest addition to the roll of Masonic lodges, under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of New Zealand, was consecrated this afternoon, and the W.M. installed by M.W. Brother Lord Plunket, Grand Master. At the conclusion of the ceremony of installation and investiture a banquet was held in the foyer of His Majesty's Theatre. His Excellency leaves for Auckland tomorrow evening.
