Z. Portland Cements sold , , at 33s 6d and 33s 3d, and Wilson's Cements j ] (pref.) at 48s fid. In raining lines Waihis j ( were firm, and sales took place at ; 3 £9 9s and £9 9s 6d, closing with buyors at ! £9 8s 6d, and sellers at £9 9s. Talismans J eased slightly, and sales were recorded at j 52s 9d, 52s 6d, 52s 3d, and 525, closing with | buyers otTeririg 51s 9d, and sellers holding j out for 52s 3d. No business was done in : Grand Junctions, which closed with buyers' at 36s 3d, and sellers at 36s 6J. Crowns were j easier, and sold at 7s 4d, 7s 3d, 7s 2d, and j < 73 Id, arid more were wanted at the latter ! : price, sellers holding for 7s 2d. A parcel f ■ of Tairua Broken Hills sold at 3s Bd, and one > ( of Waiotahis at 3s. There was an inquiry for Old Haurakis at the second call, and they were done at 2s 9d, 2s lOd, and 2s 9d.
