BIBLE CLASS UNION.
THE APPROACHING CONFERENCE. The annual conference of the New Zealand Young Women's Presbyterian Bible Class Union will be held at Auckland during the Easter holidays. This union has a membership of about 3000, and it aims at the allround development of the young woman. A systematic stud)' is made of the Bible, and many other books dealing with religion also come in for attention. At each union centre there is a library well fitted up with religious and other works. The conference will be opened at St. David's Church, Khyber Pass, on Faster Friday, when an address will be delivered by the Rev. Macaulay Caldwell. In the afternoon the annual report will be presented, and in the evening there will be a "welcome tea" at St. .Tames' Hall, Wellington-street. The sessions will be continued on Saturday morning, and in the afternoon there will be a basket-ball tournament at Remuera. A combined meeting of the city Bible classes will be held at St. David's Church, Khyber Pass, on.Sunday afternoon, and at the Presbyterian Church. Devonpori, at the same time an address will be given by Sister Alison. On Monday there will be a picnic at Lake Takapvma. .Following are the district representatives: —Auckland.
