The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina, which If It Capetown on the 6th inst., en route from London to Auckland, will not call at Hobart on the way. She is expected to arrive at Auckland on Way 2. - THE MANAPOURI The Union Company's steamer Manapouri arrived from Tahiti arid Rarotonga last evening and berthed at the Hobson-etreet Wharf. The purser (Mr. M. P. Caffln) reports that the vessel left Auckland on March 17 and experienced light north-easterly breezes and smooth seas until arriving at Rarotonga. at 5.50 a.m. on March 24. She discharged her cargo and sailed for Raiatea at 1 p.m. the same day. Moderate to lighteasterly, breeze and smooth sea were met with until arrival at Rain tea on March 26. The steamer left again the same day and arrived at Papeete on March 27. Departure was taken from Papeete at 5.15 p.m. on March 28. Huahine and Raiatea were worked on March 29, Atiu on March 31, Mauke on April 1. and Kang.iia on April 2, the steamer arriving at Rarotonga on April 3. Federnl-Houlder-Shire liner Devon, from Liverpool, Capetown, Melbourne, and Sydney, will be due hero to-morrow, having left Sydney on Tuesday. She has a number of passengers and 1722 tons of general cargo for Auckland. EARL DOUGLAS, The steamer Kail Douglas, from Newcastle, should arrive here to-morrow or on Monday. •THE MANUKA. The Union Company's steamer Manuka left Sydney at 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday and should arrive here to-morrow. A. S. Paterson and Co., agents for the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company, Limited, are advised that the .steamer Kia Oi'a will load at Auckland for London about the 26th inst., remaining until the end of the month. They are also advised that it is expected that the Kia Ora will be' despatched from the -.': Dominion for London about May 9. THE MAITAI. The Union Company's steamer Maitai, until recently known as the Miowera. has replaced the stegmer Waikare in the East Coast trade, and the latter goes' into the intercolonial running. The Maitai will arrive in Auckland on Thursday and sail again for the South this day week. ' THE MONOWAI. The steamer Mouowai, of the Union Steam Ship .Company, leaves for Dunedin, via ports, at noon to-day. "~ THE ORANGE BRANCH.
