Notice is hereby given- that at". a Special Meeting of the East Tamaki Road Board, held on the 30th day of March, 1908,. a Resolution was passed applicable to the whole of the East Tamaki Road District, providing:— ■ - .-'. i ,".:,.- , . • l.For the owner or driver of any vehicle engaged in heavy traffic used in carting stone, earth, or scoria ash* over v ' any of the roads in the East Tamaki Road District, applying first for a License, and paying a yearly License Fee, or charge per load, .as compensation for any damage likely to ocW cur to any such roads. 2. That no person shall drive any traction or other engine machine or vehicle, the weight of which, with or without any load, shall exceed five tons, across any bridge or culvert in the - said district, of a greater span than 6ft, without first, providing planks of sufficient . size and strength 'to the satisfaction of the Board, and for driving such vehicle across such planks. 3 That the person in' charge of any ~' vehicle in the district shall, when re- "' quested, do all necessary acts to en- - able the weight of his vehicle and the load thereon to be ascertained. 4.
