MINING EXAMINATIONS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington', Thursday. The Board of Examiners under the Coal Mines Act, 1905, and Mining Act, 1905, held its annual meeting at the Government Buildings to-day. The results of this year's examinations are as follows :— ■Battery Superintendents.—Passes : C. Maim, P. Mellose, L. M. Bell, W. A. Watson,. Partial; passes :W. L. Maxwell, J. S. Ritchie. First-class Mine Managers (Mining Act 1905).—Passes: R. Si. Mac Donald, S. G. Baker. Partial passes :C. A. Katz, W Smith, 0. Bell. First-class Mine Managers (Goal Mines Act, 1905).—Partial pass : 11. A. Fox. Second-class Mine Managers (Goal Mines Act, 1905).—Passes : Walter Hill, Daniel Lewis. Partial pass :E. J. Seoble. Dredgemasters' Examination.— : William Noble (Alexandra South), R. A. union (Alexandra South), John Morgan (Alexandra South), Richard S. B. Clarke (Alexandra South), Wm. ,1. Fraser (Roxburgh), Harold Morgan (Roxburgh), John A A Milne „(Roxburgh), Arch.
