Wanganui, Thursday. Tbesiddbr left Wanganui to-day, en route for Newcastle. He was the recipient last evening of a travelling bag and rug, while for Mrs. Tresidder and their children a presentation of jewellery was made. Tresidder has not decided whether he will return to the Dominion. He says ho has not the slightest intention of rowing again, and will hand over the Australian championship title to Thorougbgood, who has challenged him. He ridiculed tho suggestion of Mr. Fogwell and others that he was not properly fit when ho rowed Webb, and he is convinced that ho is "as good as ever," and rowed up to test form on the day, but met a better man.
