Now Zealand Drug Company states that the unappropriated balance brought forward ':■:-, ; from the profit and loss account last year was £9258 13s 2d, and the net profit for "the year was £17,473 7s 2d, making a total of £26,732 Os 4d. An. interim dividend at seven per cent, per annum for the half-year ended July 31, absorbed £7000, leaving a balance of £19,732 Os 4rl.
