SOUTH AUSTRALIAN GRAPES.
[BY TELKURAITI. — PRESS ASSOCIATION."]
DUN row n, Wednesday. About 640 cases of Adelaide grapes were under offer to-day, but the prices realised were considered anything but satisfactory. Crapes in good condition realised from 3d to 4£d. and choice up to sd. The low prices realised are attributed to the large consignments received and excessive supplies of local fruit on the market. It is fully anticipated that when the Australian growers are advised of the small prices received they will cease sending shipments to Dunedin, as they have advised that anything under 5d per lb cannot give them anv return.
