THE BOYCOTTED COMPANIES, NO WORK OX THEIR WHARVES. By Telesraph.— Press Association—Copyright. (Received March 13, 12.54 a.m.) Sydney, March 17. Representative;-) of the three boycotted coastal companies waited upon the .Premie: to-dn,y and stated that they were unahi< to carry on their business because mob rule prevailed round the wharves. They hoped tin; Premier would be able to place the dispute before a competent tribunal for settlement. The Premier promised to do all he could. The strikers actively picket the wharves and prevent non-unionists from working. 0 The police force lias been strengthened at the troublous points. At the master carriers' picnic the speakers, in dealing with the strike, condemned what they characterised as "a conspiracy to down the coastal companies," and declared that the master carriers would not shoulder the responsibility of the matter. '
