Justice Warrington has sanc- | tioned the formation of a company to take over the Times, witE Mr. Walter as chairman and Mr. Moberley Bell as manager. Messrs. Buckle, Chirol, Monke, and Penny, leading members of the staff, are to remain on the paper. No shares in the new company have been offered to the public. There will be no change in the politics of the Times, nor in the .editorial direction of the paper, which will be conducted by the same staff on the independent lines hitherto pursued. " The Daily Chronicle suggests that Lord Rothschild and Lord Northcliffe have provided the bulk of the Times capital, and states that the goodwill of the paper is valued at £320,000, without plant and freehold premises. The Daily Mail states that the capital of the Times Company is £750,000.
