SHEEP FAIR AT OTAHUHU.

A SUCCESSFUL SALE. LARGE;ATTENDANCE OF BUYERS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company held their first sheep fair of the season, at Otahuhu yesterday, when there was a large attendance of buyers and sellers. The sheep and lambs yarded totalled 7300. while over 600 rams were penned. Trices ranged from 2s 6d to 3s lower than last year, owing no doubt to the exceptionally dry weather, and the slump in 'the wool market. With few exceptions all the lines submitted changed hands. Bell, of East Tamaki, at 6| guineas each. Five guineas was the highest price reached for Itomneys, Mr. D. BuJck, of Palmerston North, being the seller.
