This morning all the butchers at the Pareora Freezing Works struck on account of one of their number being discharged for smoking on " the board-" - There is a special place provided for smoking, but the butcher was discharged for having infringed the regulations by smoSing at this particular place. : One of the directors "of the company (Mr. R.
