London, February 5. The Daily Telegraph states that Mr. Afcquiih (Chancellor of the Exchequer) aims at setting aside £B*ooo,ooo to provide, for old, agf pensions.
Recipients are to qualify at the age -of 65 .years, and are to get a pension of five shillings weekly, but the pension is not to be universal, adequacy of existing income being one disqualification.
