CHARGE OF INCENDIARISM.

Wiiangarei, Thursday. Nicholas Maddisen, on remand, was charged with having destroyed by fire a. house at lviripaka, occupied by George Wetherall, and owned by the Northern Coal Company. He was also charged with entering the house of Mrs. Ohlsen the same night, and stealing therefrom notes arid cash to the value of £170. This amount was found on the accused when ho was arrested. Wetherall was away at the time of the fire.
