EARTHQUAKES AT ROTORUA.
A GEYSER STOPS PLAYING. [BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Rotorua, Wednesday. Two more sharp earth tremors occurred this morning at about nine o'clock. The Wairoa geyser at Whakarewarewa was soaped to-day, in the presence of a huge crowd of spectators, but it failed to respond, and some residents are inclined to belief that there is some connection between this and the earth tremors of the past few days.
