BOWLING. CAMBRIDGE TOURNAMENT. A special meeting of members of the Cambridge Bowling Club was held on Monday evening, Mr. Thos. Wells (president) occupying, the chair. Messrs. A. Underwood and" E. W. Smith were thanked for their generous donations of a pair of silver-mount-ed bowls and two gold medals respectively. The business of tho evening was to arrange details in -connection with the approaching tournament. A letter was read from Air.' A. F. Burton, of To Aroha, giviifg a comprehensive idea of the arrangements necessary'for the successful carrying out of the gathering. It was stated that the visiting players would arrive on the 28th inst. It was agreed to hold the annual meeting of tlie South Auckland Bowling Association on the same evening, and a smoke concert tho evening following. It was resolved to make a small levy on each member of the club, to cover the expenses in connection with J the tournament. ■'
