In pursuance and exercise of the powers " vested in it in that behalf by " The Local Bodies Loan Act, 1901," the Pukekohe East Road Board hereby resolves as follows: — " That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of (£3000) Three Thousand Pounds, authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe East Road Board, under the abovementioned Act, for formation and metalling of Roads, the said Pukekohe East Road Board hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of One Farthing in the £ upon the ratable value of all ratable property of the Pukekohe East Road District, comprising all that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by the North-west generally by the Karaka Road District, from the Southern boundary of the Parish of Karaka, to the middle of the Great South Road, and thence towards the East generally by a line along the middle of the Great South Road, to a point in line with the Northern boundary lino of Section No. 1, Parish of Maungatawhiri, thence by a right line to the Northernmost corner of that section, thence by the said Maungatawhiri Parish and its Western boundary, produced to the middle of the Waik'ato River, thence towards the South generally by a line along the middle of that River, to the South-eastern corner of the Pukekohe West Road District, and thence towards the West generally by the Buckland Subdivision of the Pukekohe Weal Road District, and Pukekohe Town Board District; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable halfj early on the 14th day of September and the 14th day of March in each and every year daring the currency of such loan, being a period of 141) Forty-one Years, or until the loan is fully paid; off."
