THE LATE EXHIBITION.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
Christchurch, Monday. At the meeting of the Christchurch Domain Board the secretary read a long letter that had been written to the Hon. G. Fowlds, Minister in charge of the late Exhibition, on December 21 last, pointing out the permanent injury sustained by the park in consequence of the burring of rocks, concrete blocks, etc., and the state in which the park. had been left by the Exhibition authorities, and suggesting that the Government should hand over to the Board a sufficient sum to cover the expense of nutting the park in proper order again.
The Chairman said that no reply had been received to that letter, and the Board decided to communicate with the Minister again.
