At the monthly meeting of the Thamt>s High School Board of Governors on Titosday, Mr. A. Burns (Mayor) presiding, the headmaster's report gave (lie roll number as 70 and the average attendance for the past month as 94 per cent; The headmaster suggested that tho breaking up for tho yi\ir should take place on the 18th inst., and that instead of holding this function in tho schoolroom during the afternoon, as had boon tho custom in the past, it should bo held in one of the local halls in tho evening, and that the function should bo rendered more attractive by the introduction of musical items given by the pupils. "The- suggestion was agreed to. and it was decided to break up on the 13th inst. and resume duties on tho first Monday in February.
