WEST'S PICTURES.

The display of West's animated pictures at His Majesty's Theatre last night was well received by a fairly large audience, the tumorous films, .as usual, finding wide favour, while the incidental music provided by Do Groen's Vice-regal; Orchestral Band ' was much appreciated. The present pro-, gramme will bo superseded by new items on 'Saturday,' 'and a matinee has also been arranged for that day, at 2.30 p.m. OPERA HOUSE. Fuller's Vaudeville Company again appeared to a good house last evening. Ted Stagpoole gave a clever nciobatic, song and dance. Gertie Everett sang a colter song, "Fine Feathers," in characteristic style. Madame Blanche' Carelli sang "Waiting," and was deservedly encored. Barnard.and Barnard, the clever rifle shots, succeeded in knocking, a cork out of a swinging bottle. The Musical Clonics play beautiful music on sleigh-bells and hand-bells. Nelly Power, Jarvis and Martyn, Bob Lloyd, and tho Stagpoolcs also appeared. Tho BurnsSquires fight film will be revived for two nights, and Madame Blanche' Carelli? and Mr. John Fuller will sing the." Miserere" duct from " II Trovatoro. .STUDENTS' REQJTAL, • A largo audience attended Mr. Filler's students' recital at St. James' Hall last night. The recital proved very successful. Somo of the performances were of a high order of merit. Those, contributing were: Misses Harvey, Wilkinson, Waddingham, Watson, Bell, Haszlett, Duffy, Massey, Nicholas, Swibrook, Walsh, Braund, Ryan, Robinson, Davenport, Ahier, and Master Massey. Vocal items were rendered by Misses King, Dawson, Bennett. Gouk, and Saunders, Mrs. Finer, and Mr. Saunders.
