EDITOR AND VOLUNTEERS SENT TO GAOL. ARMED REVOLT ADVOCATED, By Telegraph.—Press Association Copyright. (Received July 27, 12.13 a.m.) Bombay, July 26. The editor of Yugantar, a native newspaper, with a large circulation in Eastern Bengal, has been sentenced to a year's imprisonment for preaching an armed revolt. Seven National Volunteers at Barisal, in the Bengal district, have been sentenced to terms of imprisonment for breaking up markets to prevent the sale of British-made goods.
